Comparative dyno tests were carried out on completely standard motorcycles, without any modifications to the original ECU.

The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is a versatile motorcycle, equally capable on asphalt and off-road terrain. To enhance its character and performance, Spark has developed the DAKAR silencer.

Combining modern materials and advanced manufacturing technologies with a design inspired by the timeless character of the legendary Dakar desert rally, the DAKAR silencer perfectly complements the adventurous spirit of the Ténéré 700.

The slip-on is available in two Euro 5+ homologated versions: standard routing (GYA1601) and high routing (GYA1602). The high-routing version is a direct tribute to the legendary Dakar racing configuration.

Lightness and performance are the key features of the DAKAR silencer. Weighing approximately 50% less than the original exhaust, it delivers a significant performance increase of up to +3 hp between 9,000 and 9,500 rpm, while maintaining full compliance with the Euro 5+ requirements following extensive phonometric and dyno testing.

For a more RACING-oriented setup, Spark offers the catalytic-converter eliminator manifold (GYA8504). It can be combined with the Spark DAKAR silencer to create a complete racing system, or fitted with the original silencer.

The dyno tests published on the Spark website were carried out on stock motorcycles, without ECU remapping.

When installing the racing manifold, ECU remapping is recommended to optimise engine performance and fuelling. For Euro 5+ models, remapping is mandatory. For Euro 5 models, remapping is not required.
