DAKAR Silencer with Side Passage Fitting - Euro5+ Approved

COMPATIBLE WITH CENTRE STAND AND SADDLEBAGS

Comparative dyno tests were carried out on a completely standard motorcycle, without any modifications to the original ECU.

The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is a versatile motorcycle, capable of tackling everything from asphalt roads to demanding off-road terrain. To enhance its character and performance, Spark has developed the DAKAR silencer.

The DAKAR silencer combines modern materials and advanced manufacturing technologies with a design inspired by the timeless character of the legendary Dakar desert rally. The result is an exhaust system that perfectly complements the adventurous spirit of the Ténéré 700.

The slip-on is available in two Euro 5+ homologated versions: standard routing (GYA1601) and high routing (GYA1602). The high-routing version is a direct tribute to the iconic exhaust configuration of Dakar racing motorcycles.

Light weight and performance are the key characteristics of the DAKAR silencer. With a weight reduction of approximately 50% compared with the original exhaust, it also delivers a significant performance increase of up to +3 hp between 9,000 and 9,500 rpm.

All this is achieved while maintaining full compliance with the Euro 5+ emissions and noise requirements, following extensive phonometric and dyno testing.

For riders looking for a more RACING-oriented setup, Spark also offers the catalytic-converter eliminator manifold (GYA8504). The manifold can be combined with a Spark DAKAR silencer to create a complete racing system, or fitted together with the original silencer.

96 dB @ 4,500 rpm
(GYA8504 + GYA1601)

The dyno tests published on the Spark website were carried out on completely standard motorcycles, without ECU remapping.

When installing the racing manifold, ECU remapping is recommended to optimise fuelling and fully exploit the performance potential of the system.
