In the early 90s, the Mantua-based company decided to create its own Spark aftermarket line precisely to customize the then new Ducati Monster carburettor release with a unique style. Since that first project, at the same time as that of the equally legendary Ducati 916, the passion for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer has continued... Thus, for each new Monster model, R&D has proposed various alternatives in the catalog, with very special details.
For Monster S2R and S4R in the catalog a modular kit, with two different proposals of silencers, both compatible with both the Racing Spark manifold and the original catalyzed manifold.
The pair of overlapping silencers, at 45° (GDU0823) follows the original lines of the bike but gives a more aggressive look and sound, enhancing the racing essence of the Borgopanigale Nuda thanks to the end cap with an increased diameter output of 60 mm.
The body of the silencers is available in carbon, with a precise and elegant texture, with a polished or titanium finish
Two high-bore versions are also available, in the variant with round (GDU0820) or oval (GDU0821) silencers: the pair of silencers is supplied with specific fittings to bring a silencer to the right and one to the left, at the height of the saddle, for an absolutely special, extreme proposal with a strong personality. For the version with round silencers, it is possible to request the standard end cap with spout or the more current conical end cap (customization to be requested at the time of ordering).
In addition, to be combined with Spark silencers or original silencers, the racing manifold (GDU8504) is available, which eliminates the catalytic converter.
The Aisi 304 stainless steel manifold has diameters and passages designed to optimize performance without necessarily having to modify the map or the original control unit. The removal of the catalytic converter allows you to avoid the increase in temperatures which, especially on long journeys, can become very annoying and a great weight saving. The manifold is equipped with sockets for the lambda sensor to be able to reposition the original probe. For the collector, an electropolishing treatment has been designed that protects the material from external agents such as salt or salt, often spread on the roads of the Nordic countries, and which typically stain the original collectors or collectors of other manufacturers in an uneven way.
By combining the manifold with one of the Spark silencer proposals, it is possible to obtain a complete high-performance kit, in a modular way, thus facing the purchase at two different times.
