In the early 1990s, the Mantua-based company launched its Spark aftermarket line to give the newly introduced carbureted Ducati Monster a distinctive custom style. Developed alongside the legendary Ducati 916, this passion for the Borgo Panigale brand has continued, with R&D creating dedicated solutions for every Monster generation, each featuring unique design details.
For the Monster S2R and S4R, Spark offers a modular system with two silencer configurations, both compatible with the Spark Racing manifold and the original catalyzed manifold.
The 45° overlapping silencers (GDU0823) follow the bikes original lines while delivering a more aggressive look and sound, highlighting the racing character of the Monster thanks to a 60 mm large-diameter end cap. The silencer bodies are available in carbon with either a polished or titanium finish.
Two high-bore alternatives are also available with round (GDU0820) or oval (GDU0821) silencers. Supplied with dedicated mounts, they position one silencer on each side at seat height for an extreme, high-impact look. The round version can be ordered with either a standard spout end cap or a modern conical end cap.
A racing manifold (GDU8504) is also available for use with Spark or original silencers. Made from AISI 304 stainless steel, it removes the catalytic converter, reducing heat and weight while improving performance without requiring ECU remapping. Lambda sensor ports and an electropolished collector ensure durability and resistance to corrosion.
Combined together, the manifold and silencers form a complete, high-performance modular system that can be upgraded in stages.
